The project intended to establish long-term collaborative frameworks, including joint degree programmes and research partnerships, creating sustainable networks for ongoing academic cooperation. We aimed to contribute to Leiden University’s internationalisation strategy by diversifying our partner network, particularly strengthening ties with underrepresented regions in Africa, Asia, and Latin America, while enhancing our institutional capacity for managing complex international partnerships and maintaining high standards of academic excellence.
