We named our project "Earth Day Everyday" in the spirit of active European citizenship and to combine appreciation for nature with practical ecology. Its aim was for young participants to emphasize the importance of environmental awareness activities in community areas in the following ways: 1) Through non-formal education approaches such as Eco-Workshops and Eco-Videos, promoting creativity; 2) Through concrete acts (greening, planting trees and other Eco-Actions in the communities of the partners). The outcomes of our project, in the long run, aided in reducing man's negative effects on the world. Furthermore, we wanted to improve communication and establish a long-term relationship between the young participants in the project and Martinique residents. “EDE” project’s goals were to: 1) Engage 37 young people in environmental issues that affect our society and their societies and raise their awareness. 2) Promote active European citizenship to instill ideals such as unity and dialogue in young people. 37 young people will discover that a good citizen is concerned with community problems, in this case environmental concerns. 3) Emphasize empathy with members of the rural community where the project is being implemented, as well as respect for their drawbacks. As project participants, 12 young people from partner groups with fewer opportunities (minorities, NEETs, etc.) will be included. 4) With a total of 37 group members (31 young people and 6 group leaders) from four different countries and cultures, focus on diversity and foster mutual understanding between different young people, assisting them in making a number of commitments and establishing ways to work together as a group. 5) Incorporate various non-formal education approaches to promote active learning
