On a general basis, we want to strengthen the international competence in the organization. After 2 years without travelling, due to the Covid19 situation, we have gained several new employees. We hope that these can be tempted to participate in some of the courses in the project, so that they can experience the benefit of bringing the European dimension into their everyday work. In addition, we want to achieve knowledge in life skills and sustainability, to benefit the individual, the students and the entire organization. We want indicators of stress and lack of competence to improve in the coming years.
The background for the project "Sustainable lifestyle" is justified in two factors. Student and staff surveys in recent years have shown that stress has been a challenge among the school's students and staff. The second reason is that in the "Fagfornyelsen" for the school system, has included 3 general themes to be implemented in all subjects. These are "public health and life skills", "sustainability" and "democracy and citizenship". As a school, we see that we first and foremost have a lack of professional competence in the field of life skills and sustainability, and the teachers and employees in the student service appreciate courses in this area. We have been working with internationalization for many years, and recognize the value these cultural experiences provide each participant.
