Objectives

One of the central achievements of the project is the continuous increase in the number of students and staff members opting for an exchange period abroad. This initiative aligns with the strategic goals outlined in NTNU’s International Development Plan 2022-2025 and the mobility objectives of our University alliance, ENHANCE. Our collaboration with leading European universities within this alliance challenges us to excel in all aspects of internationalization. The benefits of this cooperation extend beyond the alliance, significantly impacting our mobility activities outside of ENHANCE and even beyond Europe. Additionally, this partnership fosters opportunities for research collaboration. For instance, the ENHANCERIA project, funded under the Science with and for Society (SwafS) programme of Horizon 2020, aims to build effective collaborations between science and society, enhance capacities, and develop innovative ways to connect science with society. Aligning with the Norwegian government’s objectives in the Strategy for Norway’s participation in Erasmus+ and the European Education Area 2021-2027, our goal is to maximize participation in EU framework programs, especially Erasmus+. By emphasizing international mobility, we aim to provide students with quality education, language proficiency, and intercultural skills, meeting the demands of the global job market. Our target is for 50% of NTNU graduates to experience an exchange period abroad.
