Objectives

The Norwegian Academy of Music’s (NMH) main objective for the participation in the Erasmus programme is stated in the institution's European Policy Statement: "The institution aims to be one of the most well-recognised institutions within higher music education in Europe". In an international context, this means to participate, contribute, learn, and compete. International projects are thus an integral part of the institution's artistic/academic development work. NMH's more specific objectives for taking part in the Erasmus+ programme with this KA131 project were: - to increase the number of NMH students spending one or two semesters abroad. - to fund NMH students’ participation in Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) and other blended short-term mobility opportunities abroad. - to use teacher and staff mobility systematically to develop institutional collaboration, the employees' skills, and to profile NMH internationally. - to potentially host a Blended Intensive Programme. - quality in the implementation of all activities: Inbound and outbound student, teacher and staff mobility.
