The Higher Vocational College Viken has created an internationalization plan with five clear goals for mobility and internationalization. International mobility and cooperation should give students and employees access to skills, competence and knowledge that they would otherwise not get. We live in an international world where companies increasingly work on an international level. This challenges the higher vocational school sector to ensure that our students are offered up-to-date courses of the highest possible quality. To do this, we have to constantly adapt to the needs of society and working life. International cooperation provides competence enhancement which is used for the development of relevant teaching content and experiences with international professional and working environments. Through this project, we wanted to meet the need for updated courses of study that are adapted to the needs of working life. Getting to know other countries, cultures, languages and education systems is important in order to increase the students' ability to collaborate with others when they are out in the working life.
