Our main objective with this project was to increase the level of internationalization at both HVL and our partner institution, and to strengthen the quality of education. It is important for us to support interaction between our staff and partner institutions and to facilitate knowledge exchange and sharing of best practice. In this project, HVL cooperated with institutions from region 12 (USA&Canada) and region 9 (Sub-Saharan Africa). For Africa, there has been ha strongly felt need to level out the unequal relationship whereby many Norwegian students come to Africa, while few African students can afford to come the other way.
