The project increased awareness about the adverse environmental impact of consumerism, such as pollution and the depletion of natural resources. This was essential to make participants and, by extension, the broader community, more conscious of the consequences of their consumption patterns. The project promoted sustainable living practices by educating and encouraging youth on the principles of the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), circular economy, and creative recycling. This involved helping young people reconsider their consumption patterns and make more responsible choices. The project instilled a deeper appreciation for the value of natural resources and the environment. By doing so, it encouraged participants to take better care of these resources and promote their preservation. The project also promoted innovative business ideas that prioritized environmental protection. This was in line with the broader goals of sustainable development, as outlined in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which emphasized waste reduction, recycling, pollution control, climate change mitigation, and the promotion of a circular economy.
