Objectives

CITIZENS' DIALOGUE project is focusing on supporting young people and youth organizations on inclusion initiatives and create inter-generational dialogue especially after COVID period extremely necessary dimension in European societies. Partner organizations encourage youth to take initiative, to be active and to try to produce change in their daily lives and in the lives of others. Nevertheless, we’ve seen stereotyping and discrimination by our own youth and this is how we realized that the young people that we work with have a very close-minded view when it comes to working with disadvantaged people. Therefore, together with our project young participants’ project planning meeting, we decided that we want to help our friends, colleagues, and peers and to show them that global changes in society begin with the first step, even if we are young and consider ourselves not experienced enough in this area. The peculiarity of our project is that we will not ignore the problems of modern society, such as military conflicts, migrant issues, social exclusion, gender equality, marginalization and other issues of discussion, but we will conduct an open dialogue for CITIZENS' - young and adult, trying to find out how this information is broadcast in different ways in different countries and how we can consciously perceive it. Our unique mobility of young people CITIZENS DIALOGUE brings 56 participants from 7 different programme countries: Norway, Turkey, Bulgaria, Poland, Italy, Hungary and Lithuania to give the opportunity for youth from different backgrounds to learn and experience different methods of non-formal education in order to empower them to be more active in civil society and encourage developing various skills and aptitudes needed in their personal and professional development on inclusion initiatives as such.
