This is best done by raising awareness on the pressing issues and solutions amongst the wider public across Europe, and empowering European youth to advocate for individual and collective action. The main goal of the project was to increase the capacity of the European youth work sector to support the implementation of Agenda 2030 with a focus on sustainability in all its dimensions. More specific Objectives of the project were: 1. To develop practical global citizenship competencies among 24 Youth Workers from 8 countries with a focus on agenda 2030, climate change, sustainable life style and responsible consumption. 2. To motivate, prepare and accompany at least 8 youth organizations (from 8 different countries) to become Sustainable organizations in their practices and to mainstream sustainability values in their projects. 3. To encourage the European civil society at large to become more sustainable through a collection of innovative, creative, simple and motivating examples of sustainability and global citizenship practices in youth work field.
