Objectives

1. Increasing the competences of 8 members of the education staff and learning practical methods of education in the field of singing techniques, correct voice emission and body posture during the 15 months of the project. By participating in foreign courses / trainings, the Association's educational staff will gain new knowledge and increase their skills in the use of educational and therapeutic methods such as, for example, Kodalya, Dalcroze and Orff. In the future, this will contribute to the development of new educational methods used by the Association's staff. This increase the effectiveness of working with final beneficiaries, who largely come from environments with a difficult initial situation.

Background

The Belfersingers Association carries out activities aimed at preserving the tradition of choral singing, the multicultural heritage of the Low Beskids and Pogórze, and supporting people at risk of social exclusion, including seniors and people with disabilities. We do this through cultural activities and organizing concerts, as well as public education. These activities aim to improve key competences of various social groups and learning skills as well as cultural awareness and expression. In the project, we strengthened the competences of the staff by participating in training on new methods and forms of work using the therapeutic influence of music. We carried out 3 mobilities: -5-day staff course (8 people) in the use of Kodály's music education method to work with older people and people with disabilities at AURIN AND MIRACULUM FOUNDATION from Hungary. -5-day staff course (8 people) in the use of Carl Orff's music education method to work with adults, including seniors and people with disabilities at DIDAXE in Italy. -5-day staff course (8 people) in the field of proper singing technique voice emission and body posture when working with older people and people with disabilities at ALMA in Italy.
