The main goal of participating in the project was to increase the qualifications and skills of the foundation members and those collaborating with it. We aimed for them to be able to effectively and professionally meet the needs of adults in our region through the educational programs we offer. In the project, we aimed to develop the following competencies: - Language skills (especially English language skills) - Coaching skills - Creative thinking and design (design thinking) - Coaching skills in natural environments/experimental education/synergy. Thanks to the project implementation, we are currently working on a new, attractive offer for adults from Leszno, as well as for international groups that regularly ask us to expand our offer.
The Ambassadors of Ideas Foundation is a small non-governmental organization registered in Leszno, Greater Poland. The organization has several pillars of activity: language and intercultural workshops, promotion of European educational programs, wellbeing and mental health, as well as outdoor activities. The project was initiated by volunteers of the foundation (the foundation does not have any employees) and the needs of the local community. As there are increasingly more participants from different cultures, not all team members feel linguistically prepared (lack of confidence in communicating in English), and we lack methodology in several aspects where we plan to develop the Foundation's offerings (coaching, personal development, and design thinking). At the same time, more and more adults express the need for intercultural program implementation and opportunities to participate in international mobility programs - educational programs and cultural exchange.
