As part of this project, we planned to achieve the following objectives: - Competent staff expand the educational offer and work with disadvantaged groups: migrants and individuals discriminated against due to their sexual orientation. - The NURT Foundation conducts educational activities on climate change, utilizing cultural expression through movement as well as dance and movement activities in nature. - The NURT Foundation becomes an active organization within international networks and organizes festivals focused on conscious bodywork and cultural expression. Given the stage of the foundation's development, establishing international collaborations was a crucial step toward fully expanding and creating an innovative educational offer. We needed to draw more inspiration from the activities of other organizations, including international ones, to meet the needs of our target groups and enable the personal and professional development of our staff.
The NURT Foundation carries out a range of activities aimed at promoting independent, interdisciplinary art and dance through the organization of regular educational and artistic projects. The foundation implements developmental, therapeutic projects that disseminate practices of conscious bodywork, psychosomatic therapy, and alternative development. These projects aim to increase access to opportunities for developing the key competencies of the participants. The implementation of the mobility program was one of the key projects for the future of the organization. It enabled the development of the staff in the area of innovative educational and organizational methods. We carried out the project due to identified challenges and needs, such as: - Engaging new groups of participants in activities related to cultural expression through movement, - Integrating education on climate change into the organization’s program, - Building lasting structures for international network projects and medium- and large-scale festivals, - Continuously improving staff competencies in conscious bodywork, - Learning how to organize events focused on cultural expression through the body.
