Objectives

The project outlined two main objectives: 1. Enhancing the knowledge and competences of adult education staff (6 people) in the field of STEAM methodology. 2. Enriching Graceland's educational offer by introducing STEAM workshops for adults.

Background

The primary objective of the Graceland Foundation is to promote intercultural and intergenerational integration. Graceland conducts various initiatives, including Polish language courses for foreigners, integration programs, and educational workshops catering to diverse social and age groups, such as children, seniors, and migrants. This project serves as a continuation of the efforts initiated in 2020 under KA 104 "Mathematical Education for Adults," which led to the establishment of a Math Café for seniors within our organization. During evaluation meetings, both instructors and participants identified the need to enhance the senior classes by incorporating elements that foster the development of key competences like critical thinking, group collaboration, digital skills, design, and more. This realization inspired us to seek new opportunities for enhancing our coaching skills, leading us to collaborate with Siauliai Tech, our partner organization in the cooperation partnerships project.
