We wanted to achieve two goals: - broadening the diversity of adult education provision through programmes in the field of social competence – emotional intelligence (key competences); - establishment of the association’s position as an organisation with a wide range of services at European level.
Since the beginning in 2008 the Cotopaxi Association provides programmes based on art, education and social animation. We use audiovisual methods and techniques (Participatory Video, Digital Storytelling) to enhance audience, transfer digital competences and include them in creativity and artistic expression. We are active in a field of cultural education - in 2015 our series of projects was chosen as the best NGO initiative in this area in Warsaw - WPEK award 2015. For 2 years we have been expanding the scope of our educational activities by introducing new programs based on audiovisual, but focused on supporting the development of social competences - Szkoła Życzliwej Wyobraźni, which is the author's program for learning cognitive empathy.
