Thanks to the implementation of the project, our staff has improved their competencies and skills in the field of innovative forms and methods of working with adults, including seniors. As a result, we were able to introduce new forms of support for our participants in the projects we implement. Participation in the project was also an excellent opportunity to establish new contacts on a European scale or to improve language competencies. Even if a part of the grant for seniors' mobility was not granted, we still partially managed to achieve the second goal, which was to increase the social participation of seniors in the local environment, thanks to their involvement in new forms of activities and strengthening their social competencies.
The project "Seniors young again by active citizenship" was an answer to the needs of our Foundation, which operates in the field of non- formal education for adults. Thanks to funding from the Erasmus+ program, we were able to carry out activities that developed our organization, allowing it to operate even more effectively in the area of integrating seniors into social life. The international character of the project allowed 6 people from our teaching staff to participate in international courses held in Porto, Portugal and Malta, equipping them with the necessary skills and enhancing their competences. As a result, we have been able to increase the involvement of seniors in the local community and our Foundation has gained international experience.
