Through the implementation of „Time for the Next Step” project, we aimed to activate at least 3 Rural Women’s Circles (KGW- Polish name) from the Koluszki municipality for developmental activities, using their logistical capabilities and Rural Women’s Circles structures, since they gather about 30 people from each village, have access to community center, and express the need for development and action. As part of this project, we planned to strengthen the skills of educators who are knowledgeable about the realities of small social environments. They would focus on conducting educational activities that are relevant to the needs of the Rural Women Circles. (KGW- Polish name)
kobieTY.lodz.pl association has been operating since 2001. In the initial period of its activity, it mainly targeted women. For many years, it ran a portal for women in Łódź. For over 10 years, we have been hosting European volunteers. Currently, it has expanded its activities to include activities that deal more broadly with social values, equality and social change. Since 2019, kobieTY association has also been active in the Koluszki town and surrounding villages. Collaboration with the „Rural Women’s Circles” of the Koluszki municipality resulted in a project specifically addressed to these women. These circles bring together people who can and want to develop themselves and our association is supporting them in organising educational activities. This is how the need for preparing the „Time for the Next Step” project has been developed - to take a step in the direction of development. The project consisted of preparing and implementing 3 group mobilities to organizations in The Netherlands, Latvia and Romania. Selected hosting organizations had different profiles. Transnational mobilities were designed to support the acquisition of new skills or strengthening participant’s competences.
