The aim of our project was to increase the knowledge and competences of our adult education staff in the field of English, ICT tools and digital media, and methods of working with people at risk of social exclusion. An indirect, but key goal was to improve the quality of adult education and expand the scope of educational services for adults at risk of social exclusion. The aim of the project was also to develop international cooperation of FOSa Federation and implement foreign solutions learned from the host organizations.
FOSa Federation brings together over 80 organizations working with people and groups in need of support in the voivodeship. The main goals of FOSy are to help people in difficult life situations, equalize educational, cultural and social opportunities, support local communities and the development of organizations belonging to the Federation. We run Social Integration Clubs, offering formal and informal education services as well as psychological support, legal advice, support in debt collection procedures and debt relief, health advice, advice for people with disabilities, assistant and care services, advice on care and upbringing matters, moderation of self-help groups, we run social competence workshops, we support volunteering of older people. We also support refugees and implement innovative educational models. As part of the project, we undertook educational activities aimed at increasing the knowledge and competences of our adult education staff in the field of English, ICT tools and digital media, and methods of working with people at risk of social exclusion.
