Teaching and learning of foreign languagesNew learning and teaching methods and approachesEntrepreneurial learning - entrepreneurship education

Objectives

1. Enhancing the teaching competencies of the staff: We aimed to adapt teaching methods to the needs of adult learners, especially seniors and those without higher education. By providing training for the Foundation's staff, we sought to improve the quality of the courses and increase participant engagement. 2. Developing non-formal education methods: The goal was to support trainers in their methodology for working with adults, particularly in the context of non-formal education in entrepreneurship. We wanted the trainers to expand their competencies, enabling them to more effectively impart knowledge and skills to adult course participants. 3. Integrating migrants: We aimed to expand our activities to disadvantaged groups, particularly migrants and foreigners. By organizing language courses and integration activities, we wanted to support them in learning the Polish language, understanding the culture, and achieving fuller social integration. 4. Strengthening management competencies in adult education: Our goal was to enhance the managerial competencies of the person leading the Foundation's adult education activities.

Background

The Foundation European Institute, with extensive experience in implementing educational projects, works towards developing the competencies of both youth and adults. For over 5 years, we have been intensively developing our competencies in adult education, focusing on the use of non-formal education (outside institutional settings). In the Erasmus+ KA1 project, we concentrated on four key areas: Enhancing digital competencies: We adapted teaching methods to meet the needs of seniors and individuals without higher education. Developing non-formal education methods: We supported trainers in the field of entrepreneurship to more effectively impart knowledge to adults. Integrating migrants: We organized language courses and integration activities for foreigners, especially from Ukraine. Managing adult education: We strengthened managerial competencies and promoted educational activities to better meet the needs of our learners. Our goal was to offer high-quality education that supports the personal and professional development of adults, contributing to their fuller social and professional integration.
