The objectives we wanted to achieve were: - To increase the diversity and improve the quality of the non-formal adult education offered by our organisation in the areas of language, social and life skills - The project will allow us to achieve better visibility for our organisation and increase our prestige as a place where people adults can learn in a friendly atmosphere, find out new things, learn techniques for dealing with stress, practice their mindfulness and learn how to exercise and what to eat to stay physically and mentally fit for as long as possible. - Gaining experience, creating new international partnerships - There is no doubt that most new international partnerships are formed in an international environment - including courses, seminars, training sessions with partners from different countries. New partners can be searched for and sourced via the internet, browsers, Facebook, but it is abroad that most ideas for new international partnerships are usually generated, at least in the case of our Association.
We work with adults through various methods of non-formal education and give creative space for self-development. We activate the local community - English classes, intergenerational theatre plays, gardening workshops, soft skills training are some of the events we organised in the past years. In 2020, we implemented 2 intergenerational projects, which brought us as well as the participants a lot of satisfaction. MOST brought together young people and seniors from the Senior Citizens' Home and responded to the problem of the growing intergenerational gap by addressing a constructive dialogue and mutual learning process, and resulted in an intergenerational theatre play. Legendarz, on the other hand, is a collaboration of our volunteers, who collected legends from seniors in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, on the basis of which an illustrated collection of Legends and a theatre play were created. We also implemented the E+ small-scale partnership project Folk&Roll - aimed at adults. By taking part in a project in Iceland, we wanted to increase the range of methods and broaden the range of tools at our disposal when working with adult groups.
