Thanks to the project we wanted to Enable teachers to reflect on their already acquired knowledge in traditional PBL and identify the benefits of remote PBL, Give teachers a deeper understanding on how remote PBL works in combination with GBL to engage students online, Enhance teaching methods by training teachers on how to create their own learning scenarios and PBL activities using the environment of Minecraft Education Edition and Equipped teachers with the ability to manage time and pass it on to students. We wanted to give a chance to our team to exchange their experience with international society and make them aware, that they can be modern teachers of the future.
Our project was a response to the situation after the covid time, when teachers and students were unmotivated to teach and learn, low motivation was the reason four action: we decided to support our team with courses how to develop teaching methods. Our school is a public combining nursery, primary and junior secondary schools. Our qualified and creative teachers gave our students the chance for overall development. The students participate in numerous local projects and activities: The school takes part in workshops and lectures for teaching staff organised by Malopolskie Centrum Doskonalenia Nauczycieli.For several years we have been promoted the meaning of science for future job. To increase student`s employability we organized interviews with employers. By introducing innovative and effective methods of teaching we aimed to improve the effects of studying, get students interested in the subject that seems to be demanding and too difficult, teach our students how to learn and prevent truancy with a high rate of school absences, problems with science, maths and whose key competences required improvement. Teachers participated in 2 workshops, where they got many ideas and knowledge, which they are using now in the classroom.
