The main goals of the project were: improving the qualifications and competences of the staff, increasing language and skills, increasing the quality of teaching and learning, developing social and cultural competences, expanding competences in the field of ICT: the use of IT tools, comparing the educational systems of schools from European countries, increasing teachers' motivation for future activities for the school and personal development, the need to introduce innovations into the school's educational offer and to give the institution a European dimension by using innovative teaching, management and international communication methods befitting modern Europe.The aim of the school was to acquire broader knowledge about strategies and systems in in the field of education applicable in EU countries,personal development of teachers,which will influence the long-term improvement of the quality of education in our institution.In the long run, the implementation of mobility activities would allow for better teaching results, improved external exam pass rates, and increased attractiveness of the teaching profession and the institution itself.Better language skills were intended to enable individual contacts betweenTeachers within EU
We are a public school that has been operating for over 60 years. We educate 533 students in the following professions:economic technician, advertising organization,freight forwarder,nutrition and catering services,hotel management.The first-level vocational school educates chefs and ceramic decorators.We also teach adults at the Continuing Education Center, which organizes vocational qualification courses. The school is an examination center - it organizes external exams in the catering industry, carries out experiments and pedagogical innovations, educational projects. Apprenticeships and professional internships of our students take place throughout the country and abroad (Germany). We implement social initiatives: We help Poles in the Borderlands, National food collection, World Day for the Fight against Hunger. We conduct international cooperation; Polish-Ukrainian youth cooperation project, eTwinning projects. We constantly strive to develop ourselves to educate students who will be able to meet the challenges of today and the future. We believe that good education and teachers with an innovative approach to the education process are a good investment for a better future,hence the decision to participate in this project.
