Our school with 60 years of tradition is a boarding school in the small town of Police. We work with physically and mentally disabled children aged 6 to 24 from all over Poland. There are over 200 students here, all of whom require additional support with educational needs in terms of physical activity, physical and mental development. We offer professional education from kindergarten to post-secondary school as well as professional therapy and rehabilitation combined with informal education. We are a place where young people can learn, rehabilitate and become independent. We have 2 pre-school departments, a primary school, a 1st degree trade school with a tailor, cook, and photographer profile, a general high school with a geographical and linguistic profile, a post-secondary special school with an administration techniques profile, a job-training school for students with moderate intellectual disabilities. The project "We Open the Door - staff development as the key to the European cooperation" was intended for teachers and school staff interested in improving their qualifications and gaining new knowledge at foreign courses as well as exchanging the experience.
