The main goals of the project are: * inclusive education and work with people with special educational needs, both in organizational and methodological areas, * skills in using modern technologies in education, * knowledge of English at least B1/B2 level. Specific objectives: * greater ability to meet the needs of people with fewer opportunities, * better understanding and sensitivity in relation to all manifestations of diversity, e.g. social, ethnic, linguistic, gender and cultural, as well as various skills, * better knowledge of foreign languages and better digital competences.
The Catering School Complex in Katowice is a public school run by the City of Katowice. The team includes three institutions: Technical Secondary School No. 3, Secondary Vocational School No. 2 and Secondary Vocational School No. 2. We educate in the following professions: nutrition and catering services technician, waiter services technician, port and terminal operation technician, cook and warehouseman-logistician . The school educates young people with disabilities, dysfunctions and chronic diseases. We implement projects supporting a healthy lifestyle: "School promoting health" and "Stop annual leave from PE". The school employs a pedagogue-career advisor, a special educator and a psychologist. 9 teachers are certified to work with young people with disabilities and dysfunctions: oligophrenopedagogy, typhlopedagogy, surdopedagogy and work with young people on the autism spectrum. These teachers conduct individual revalidation and support classes. From the next school year, we will start training in integration classes in two professions: nutrition and catering services technician (Technical Secondary School) and cook (1st stage Vocational School). In these classes, the supporting teacher will be present in all lessons.
