In the project, we wanted to achieve the following goals: - developing the knowledge of foreign languages to the level B2 (English), C1/C1+ (Italian) and A2 (Portuguese) - learning and introducing stationary teaching methods using digital resources - development of vocational education by teaching vocational subjects (including vocational English) in an international environment - developing key competences in the field of IT, cultural awareness, organizational and interpersonal competences learning and adapting ecological solutions and their application in ZSE1 We wanted 15 people to take part in the project.
Economic School Complex No. 1 consists of the Technical Secondary School of Economics and Hospitality No. 4 and the Post-Secondary School No. 2. The vocational school is a full-time secondary school attended by primary school graduates. We educate in economics, accounting, hotel management and tourism organization. We implement the core curriculum for general education and the core curriculum for vocational education. The school implements the SUWAK, School Citizens' Budget and Vocational Competences Center projects. Education at a vocational school lasts 5 years. Students start their education at the age of 15 and finish at the age of 20. According to the program, they can take the Matura exam and exams confirming professional qualifications, the positive result of which gives them the title of technician in a chosen field. During the education cycle students undergo two professional internships in workplaces. Students' financial situation is difficult as they often from rural areas. Very often, these are gifted students for whom learning is an opportunity to go beyond the limitations of the conditions in which they were brought up. As a technical school, we educate students who can start work right after graduating.
