By implementing the project, we wanted to achieve two main project goals: 1. Increasing the level of key competences, including language ones, of students and teachers of the School Complex General education in Augustów 2. Acquiring knowledge of new techniques and methods in the work of teachers of the General Education School Complex in Augustów. Moreover, thanks to the implementation of the project under the Erasmus program, we wanted to: 1. make the education process at a general school more attractive, 2. expand the offer of additional activities for students, 3. increase the school's prestige by establishing new foreign contacts and cooperation in the community international, 4. update teachers' knowledge with new work methods and techniques. The implementation of the mobility project of our students and teachers allowed us to respond to the indicated needs and challenges facing our school in such a way that it brought real benefits for students and teachers, i.e.: - increasing the level of language competences of students and teachers, - updating teachers' knowledge with new ways and techniques of working with young people, - exchange of experiences with teachers abroad, which will translate into the teaching process.
The Complex of General Education Schools in Augustów is a school that includes the 1st Secondary School. Grzegorz Piramowicz and the Secondary School for Adults. The implemented project concerned the 1st Secondary School. Graduating from our school allows students to pursue further education at a number of universities, in accordance with the profile of the completed class. We offer medical, mathematical, legal and military training. The project assumed the organization of short-term educational mobility of students (26) and job-shadowing mobility (4). A preparatory visit was also carried out in the project. All mobilities were carried out as planned in Valencia, Spain and the intended goals of the project were achieved - the level of key competences, including linguistic ones, of students and teachers of the school was improved and knowledge of new techniques and working methods by teachers was acquired. The project was in the thematic areas of teaching and learning foreign languages, development of key competences and new methods and approaches in teaching and learning.
