The objectives of the project were defined as: education in the field of the increasingly observable problem of access to clean water resources in the modern world, shaping students' skills in the area of creating tools and activities disseminating the problem and shaping the appropriate behavior of the addressees of these activities, building awareness of the problems inextricably linked with the problem of access to clean water. Already today, in many parts of the world, the availability of clean water is a matter of life or death and a reason for bloody incidents. This problem in Poland, and in Europe in general, although little present in the general consciousness, may become serious in the near future. At least in an economic sense. In addition, this problem has wide implications, such as population migrations. Reaching the public awareness of these issues should start with school education. Each school carries out activities in the field of shaping environmental awareness. And a project implemented in international cooperation is the most attractive and effective form. Participants' involvement in the independent creation of promotional materials using modern means of communication strengthened this effectiveness.
The project was aimed at carrying out tasks resulting from basic needs, such as: implementation of educational activities in the field of the most important problems and various forms developing creativity and involvement of students, as well as improving the competences of the educational staff. Our school operates in a small county town and educates young people in the general scope from the entire county. The ambition of the educational staff is to carry out this task at the highest possible level, which results from the awareness of the importance of good education and shaping awareness in various areas (including ecological) for the successful personal development and further career of graduates. Students benefit from a wide range of opportunities to improve their skills and knowledge, but also to develop their interests and talents (sport, theatre, art, etc.) and the opportunity to participate in international cooperation projects. The project "Water more preious than gold" was a very attractive and very successful form of improving various skills and shaping sensitivity to extremely important problems of the modern world.
