Our goals were: - Increasing the European dimension of the school, we could do it by establishing lasting and long-term contacts with foreign partners. In implementing this project, we cooperated with renowned English schools from Dublin and Malta and Spanish schools from Malaga, where our teachers received language training. - Increasing the level of English among school staff, and as a result of these activities, encouraging and motivating teachers to undertake international initiatives in which students are to actively participate. -Activation of teachers, encouragement to introduce pedagogical innovations at work. -Improving teachers' methodological and digital skills. -Preventing burnout and motivating to work by creating opportunities for professional development in the form of attractive training and contacts with other teachers.
We are a four-year general secondary school, our main task is education and upbringing. We prepare young people for higher education and undertake many educational initiatives. We have been cooperating with schools in Germany and Italy for years organizing family exchanges. We have extensive experience implementing EU projects that inspire young people to undertake similar activities after leaving school. Teachers individually organize activities in the field of artistic education (English Language Festival, Charity Green Concerts, school choir performances, trips to the Film Festival in Gdynia), tourist education (class trips, stays abroad, language courses, walking and cycling tours) and ecological education (ecological strike, landscaping around the school - planting trees, among them old varieties of apple trees, bushes and flowers). Our students are active volunteers for local residents and animal shelters and participate in nationwide campaigns. The project embraced the development of our teaching staff, opening up to contacts with other schools, drawing on the experience of joint activities, finding motivation for further work and cooperation with foreign partners.
