The project aimed to strengthen the educational process in order to convince students that different forms of education are a benefit on which to build their future. The project was intended to break down barriers related to contact with other people from other cultural backgrounds, to accept their differences and to build positive relationships. The project was supposed to strengthen the self-esteem of the participating students (getting into a project mobility is an ennoblement in itself), build self-acceptance attitudes and contribute to strengthening motivation. It was also intended to increase the students' key competences in terms of language communication, cultural knowledge, social competences in terms of forming relationships with others. It was also important in the project to strengthen the language competences of the teachers so that they were prepared to work in groups to carry out international educational projects. These aims are part of the implementation of the school's internationalisation strategy.
The implementation of international projects serves to improve the quality of the school's work and the quality of education. It brings a lot of new experiences, good practices that can be transferred to the school's activities and students' development. This project served to develop the key competences of young people and to increase pupils' competences (mainly in the development of linguistic communication in English). It also built the low motivation and self-acceptance of the school's students. It raised their aspirations and contributed to their belief in success, both during their studies and during examinations. Going abroad and learning about a new culture and tradition influenced a different, more open perception of the world and reduced stereotypical perceptions of the world and people. Participation in international mobility was an opportunity to get to know the world (for the vast majority of students it was their first trip abroad) and to break down language barriers.
