In conducting the project, we wanted to achieve four key goals for our organization and students. First - to increase awareness among students on the subject of choosing a profession and the direction of further education (after high school), second - to increase language competence, especially in the practical dimension, and to increase awareness and motivation of students to learn it. Thirdly, we wanted to create a tool in the form of a program containing five ready-made lesson plans with attachments in the form of worksheets under the common name "Nie odkładaj przyszłości na później" ("Don't put off your future for later"). It will be used by teachers in their work with the final grades of high school, who will be making their choice of further education, and we want to support them in this process as much as possible.
The 2021/2022 school year was a breakthrough for our school. Students of our school took the high school diploma exam for the first time in its short history. In the interviews conducted, there was a clear theme of problems related to the choice of a further path in life. Due to the nature of our school - the Sports Championship School Complex - our students devote most of their time and their attention to developing their skills in the discipline they train. The realization of activities in the project was aimed at showing them in a practical way the steps to be taken to create a workplace for themselves and, in time, perhaps for others. In addition, the participants (young students from the last year of high school) became familiar with the offer of the current labor market - new professions, and they were introduced to the mechanism of creating their own professional profile. For our school, each successive realized project is very important in raising its importance in the arena of other educational institutions.
