Background

I Liceum Ogólnokształcące im 14 Pułku Powstańców Śląskich in Wodzisław Śląski is the oldest establishment in the city. Students attend classes with 5 different profiles, in each class they learn English and a second foreign language (German, Spanish, Italian or French) in inter-departmental groups. We have been implementing eTwinning, international exchange projects, PNWM, POWER and Erasmus+ projects at the school for many years. The Better @t School project addressed the most important needs and challenges of our school resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic. These included developing digital skills and using Internet resources effectively and safely, learning new ICT tools, activating students and teachers by introducing new teaching and learning methods, introducing regional and local topics, increasing students' motivation to learn, learning to manage stress and time, and preventing professional burnout among teachers. The project aimed at opening up to new projects and strengthen the European dimension of the school, improved the language competences of the beneficiaries, forged new partnerships and encouraged participants to plan for a sustainable and green future.
