Background

Chrześcijańska Szkoła Podstawowa im. Króla Dawida w Poznaniu is a nonpublic school, run by Wielkopolskie Stowarzyszenie Edukacyjne. The vision, mission and goals of our institution flow from the belief that each child is unique and has individual endowments. We want them to develop to their full potential in every educational and personality area in an atmosphere of safety, care, respect and trust. We support each child by enhancing his or her strengths and supporting areas that require specialized attention. The profile of our institution has evolved in recent years from an inclusive and therapeutic school. The number of students with SEN, including those with special education evaluations, as well as with specific neurodevelopmental disorders, is increasing exponentially at ChSP. The project was supposed to be a response to the lack of proper methods of working with SEN students, difficulties in including them in the educational process conducted for the whole class, unequal educational opportunities for students, lack of consistency within the educational work; low recognition of our institution in the local community and a significant decrease in the effectiveness of cooperation within and between teams.
