The project we implemented was closely related to the recommendations of the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union regarding key competences in lifelong learning. According to these recommendations, key competences encompass a combination of knowledge, skills, and attitudes appropriate to each situation. They are essential for active citizenship, self-realization, personal development, social integration, and employment. Through the implementation of this project, our goal was to enable students in our school to develop these competences and ensure their comprehensive development through educational and upbringing activities. Thanks to the implementation of this project, our students had the opportunity to acquire vocational competences in the electrical, electronic, and IT industries, as well as digital and ecological skills. Additionally, their language competences improved. The school also improved the quality of teaching and strengthened its position both locally and nationally.
Modern technologies supporting the acquisition of vocational competencies are an essential element in the job market, yet the School faced difficulties in keeping up with the purchases of modern educational infrastructure. Despite having well-equipped workshops and regularly upgrading laboratory facilities, we encountered significant challenges that hindered students from conducting high-quality practical vocational classes and gaining experience in working with current and innovative technologies. ZSE decided to participate in the program to create such opportunities for our students. Supporting our students in foreign language learning was of utmost importance to us. Through the implementation of this project, our students were able to enhance their language skills and develop soft skills. The implementation of this project directly influenced the improvement of the School's work quality and its position in local and national rankings. For students specializing in electrical engineering and electronics, we prepared a program focused on renewable energy sources, which took place at SAFA in Seville. As for the students in the IT field, we implemented a program concerning the implementation of an e-commerce platform at CESUR.
