Objectives

The objective of the Erasmus+ programme is to contribute to the educational, professional and personal development of individuals through lifelong learning and training. Following this mission, Cracow University of Technology underlines the importance of promoting the international mobility of both students and university staff. There are 441 active Erasmus agreements already, established between the University and European partners, cooperating on both teaching and research levels. When applying for further projects under the Erasmus+ programme, we intend to strengthen as well as develop new levels of cooperation, increasing the internationalisation of the University, as well as including all groups of people present in the academic community, so that they can benefit from the opportunities arising from the project. The completed project is part of the ‘Internationalisation Strategy of the University’, increasing activities in the field of science, among all groups of the academic community. The objectives outlined in the project's financial agreement have been achieved. Throughout the duration of the project, the mobility support was granted to 328 beneficiaries, whereas 550 students attended Cracow University of Technology. Within the framework of completed project, the University carried out 40 more mobilities than specified initially in the financial agreement. The implemented activities address the ‘Internationalisation Strategy of the University’ by improving the University's international profile and providing the University's students and staff with the knowledge and qualifications necessary to pursue their academic and professional goals within the international arena. The University‘s participation in the Erasmus programme, owing to the programme's recognition and efficiency in terms of the development of the University, its staff and students – has assisted in attracting foreign partners and the implementation of joint activities in the fields of research and teaching, as well as research and development.
