The project focused more on student mobility within SMT activities than on SMS activities. Based on the conclusions drawn from previous projects, the university has developed and continues to develop SMT initiatives equally, and sometimes even more so, than SMS due to the specific nature of the main field of study of the project's beneficiaries, which is medicine. For years, the university has also assumed (and gradually increased) that staff mobility is key to enhancing the university's visibility and expanding existing collaborations. The significant benefits of improving the competencies of employees involved in both student services and teaching became the main core and pillar of the project’s priorities, which resulted in great success and a record number of staff mobilities – approximately 10% of the university's staff. The goal of the project was, of course, to steadily increase the number of mobilities each year while maintaining the principle of balanced exchange, particularly in terms of student mobilities.
