The main rationale for implementing the project was the advancement of the internationalization strategy of the educational process at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS) - PL LUBLIN01, as well as the continuation of the long-standing academic, teaching, and scientific cooperation with partner universities in Program countries. The aim of the activities was to increase the number of international direct contacts between students and staff of the University and to maintain a high level of internationalization in terms of the quality of education and the number of students and staff with international experience. The target groups included University students participating in part of their studies at partner universities abroad and in international internships, international students participating in the University’s educational activities in short- and long-term studies, and UMCS staff undertaking short international mobilities for teaching or training purposes. Another important goal of the project was the continuous development of study programs for international students and securing financial resources to enhance the academic staff's experience in working with foreign nationals and improving the foreign language skills of the University’s academic and administrative staff.
