Objectives

By implementing the Erasmus+ KA131 international exchange project (contract 2022), the Silesian University of Technology aimed to achieve several important objectives: 1) Promoting Educational Mobility. By enabling students and staff to gain valuable educational and professional experience abroad. Through this, students and staff could broaden their knowledge, acquire new skills, and learn about diverse teaching methods as well as modern research practices applied in other countries. 2) Integration and Building a Shared European Identity. Within the framework of educating students and staff, the project aimed to enhance international and linguistic competencies while fostering an appreciation for the cultural diversity of Europe. 3) Building and Expanding International Networks. The exchange program supported the development of international collaborations between universities and industrial partners, contributing to the potential and prestige of our research institution. Such networks could lead to long-term research and educational projects, as well as the exchange of knowledge and best practices. It also facilitated access to international research resources, laboratories, and collaboration in technological innovation. 4) Promoting Poland and Our University in Europe. By increasing the visibility of Politechnika Śląska within the academic community, the project could attract new cooperation opportunities and foreign students. 5) Enhancing Interdisciplinarity and Personal Development. The program provided students and researchers with opportunities to gain international experience, which contributed to career development, the building of international networks, and the enhancement of their academic achievements. 6) Promoting Ecology and Sustainable Development. Encouraging the use of sustainable transportation and expanding cooperation in areas such as sustainable development, environmental protection, and eco-friendly technologies. 7) Knowledge and Technology Transfer. Elevating the level of research and innovation both at the university and abroad. 8) Increasing Innovation in Education.
