Objectives

The primary goal of the mobility project under the Erasmus Plus program was to facilitate the exchange of best practices, enhance professional competencies, and support the modernization and internationalization processes of The Academy of Business and Health Sciences in Łódź. As an institution, we aimed to develop skills and competencies in management, work organization, and the handling of international processes, with the objective of improving overall operational quality. Participants in the project had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with innovative solutions and strategies applied at partner universities. This contributed to increasing the effectiveness of both administrative and academic staff. The project aimed to strengthen international cooperation through the mobility of administrative staff, establishing new contacts, and deepening existing relationships with foreign partners. Additionally, the project supported the personal development of participants, particularly by enhancing their intercultural and language competencies. No training can fully reflect the realities of practical experience. The mobility verified the skills previously acquired and fostered new ones—largely social skills. This has proven beneficial for further international contacts and daily work. Participants reported that their stays abroad allowed them to gain a better understanding of working with partners from different countries. The result has been smoother communication, the elimination of mental barriers, and more effective collaboration in research projects and academic groups. Thus, the project was aimed at strengthening the international standing of The Academy of Business and Health Sciences in Łódź by increasing the competencies of administrative staff, developing cooperation with foreign partners, and supporting the modernization processes at the institution. This goal was successfully achieved. The participants of the mobility had the opportunity to learn about modern methods of managing higher education institutions and innovative technologies supporting administrative processes. The practical application of the acquired knowledge and observations contributed to improving the functioning of this part of the organization, optimizing communication processes between the university’s institutes and branches. As a result, The Academy of Business and Health Sciences gained tools that enhanced its ability to manage international projects and the exchange of students and staff. This is a fundamental factor in the further development of cooperation with foreign partners. Thanks to the mobility realized within the project, The Academy of Business and Health Sciences in Łódź established new, valuable contacts with foreign educational institutions, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration. We hope that strengthening relationships with existing partners and establishing new ones will open up opportunities for co-organizing international conferences, student exchanges, and jointly applying for additional projects funded by the EU. We also expect that long-term cooperation with foreign partners will contribute to the exchange of knowledge and experience, which will, in turn, have a positive impact on the quality of education and the development of the university's educational offerings. The Academy of Business and Health Sciences in Łódź is now better prepared to meet the challenges posed by the globalization of education and the dynamically changing needs of students and staff.
