Wyższa Szkoła Logistyki has been actively involved in the Erasmus+ program since 2005 and has been participating annually since then, aiming to provide its students with the opportunity to participate in the international exchange, which translates into an increase in language and soft skills (especially in terms of creativity and independence, cooperation in an international environment, time management skills, and openness to cultural diversity), contributes to personal development - increasing the openness of students, breaking down individual barriers, e.g. stress in presenting one's own work or using English, enabling them to discover their strengths, facilitating the learning of new tools and programs - a value particularly useful in the digital age. The University also attaches great importance to the development of its employees, which is why it also participates in the Erasmus+ program for the sake of academic and administrative staff. The participation of employees in the program contributes to the international exchange of knowledge and experience, thanks to which the staff has the opportunity to broaden their horizons and observe solutions (both in terms of administrative services and teaching), as well as develop language skills (positively influencing the level of scientific research and the possibility of participating in scientific conferences) and personal skills. Another aspect bringing tangible benefits is the improvement of the quality of education: through participation in the Erasmus+ program, the University has the opportunity to improve its study programs, adapting them to international standards. Moreover, participation in the Erasmus+ program increases the prestige of Wyższa Szkoła Logistyki and increases its visibility on the international educational map, strengthening the position of the university on the international arena. In summary, the implementation of the project enables Wyższa Szkoła Logistyki to release conscious graduates onto the labor market who are characterized by independence and autonomy, the ability to adapt quickly and flexibly, with high language and soft skills. Moreover, participation in the Erasmus+ program increases the attractiveness of a candidate for work, and also expands the network of international contacts, thus enabling further study or work abroad. In addition, the University can boast an open, flexible academic staff teaching at the European level thanks to familiarization with foreign standards, which translates into making the educational offer more attractive for foreign students. An important aspect of staff mobility is establishing contacts and jointly implementing projects, not only within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, but also in research.
