In addition, taking into account the intensive development of UITM in the direction of education for sustainable development, it was aimed to expand knowledge about the solutions implemented at partner universities in: I-Education, II-Research and development III-Infrastructure and organization, IV-Partnership for sustainable development. Participation in the Erasmus+ programme contributes to developing a sense of shared citizenship and to foster a greater involvement in society, which is crutial in modern societies and political systems since they rely on the inclusion and active participation of citizens in the democratic process and public life regardless of their background or circumstances. The project aim was to reduce barriers to participation in the Erasmus programme for participants with fewer opportunities and help applicants and potential applicants to overcome these barriers, as well as establish appropriate conditions for learning.
