By implementing the KA131 2021 project, Action 1 “Educational Mobility” (mobility with the program countries), the Jacob of Paradies University (AJP) planned to achieve the objectives set forth in its Mission and Development Strategy, i.e. to enable students to acquire new international competencies (knowledge, skills and attitudes); to improve their foreign language skills; to encourage them to open up to the world, people, culture; to encourage them to leave their immediate surroundings, which in most cases are small towns, resulting in expanded opportunities for personal development and increased chances of employment in the domestic and international labor markets. Staff mobility and international cooperation within the framework of the Erasmus+ program enables the university’s staff to improve their professional development; improve the quality of teaching through contact with a different international youth community; and exchange experiences with staff from foreign academic centers and other institutions. Cooperation with foreign partners serves to build friendly relations between AJP’s academic community and foreign staff and young people, and it is a good basis for further internationalization of the university.
