Gdynia Maritime University has participated in Erasmus Program projects from the very beginning of its existence in Poland. Participation in the Erasmus program is one of the most important activities in the field of internationalization of our University. Thanks to subsequent implemented projects, student and staff mobility has become an indispensable element of the study offer. Following the primary goal of the University Program, our University is making efforts to effectively use Europe's human and social potential, offering lifelong learning. The development of human and social capital, increase of employability and flexibility, development of key competencies to increase competitiveness, and promotion of cooperation and mobility with the EU's partner countries are further essential goals that the University sets with each subsequent year of participation in projects, striving for its internationalization. These goals are consistent with the Erasmus Policy Statement and the Gdynia Maritime University Development Strategy for 2021-2027.
