The Erasmus+ KA131-2022 project is a continuation of mobility activities implemented by Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa (JDU). The University's strategy for 2023-2028 assumes four key goals in the field of internationalization: 1. increasing research, scientific and artistic activity through projects with teams from abroad, e.g. Horyzont 2. modernization and making the offer more attractive - increasing the participation of students and employees from abroad, improving services for foreign interested parties 3. cooperation with the socio-economic environment in the region, country and the EU, which includes the flagship JDU project European University COLOURS 4. implementation of international projects, including mobility projects, e.g. Erasmus+, NAWA PROM. When applying for funds for the implementation of the 2022 project, the university coordinator analyzed the expenditure of funds in previous projects. The observed increase in the number of mobilities influenced the increase in the requested funding. The JDU authorities emphasize the benefits of participating in E+ projects for participants and universities: - increasing international mobility (traditional, virtual and blended) - creating cooperation networks - internationalization of universities, modernization of the education process - increasing linguistic, social and intercultural competences - increasing opportunities on the labor market and development opportunities in the employing entity - establishing professional and scientific contacts - exchange of good practices
