Objectives

Program Erasmus powinien stanowić podstawę rozwoju współpracy międzynarodowej naszej uczelni, stanowić też zaplecze do rozwijania innych projektów międzynarodowych w przyszłości, regulować zasady i standardy jakości usług oferowanych studentom oraz promować wartości współpracy i włączenia wszystkich studentów i wykładowców. The application to the Erasmus+ project was dictated by the objective requirements placed on both higher education institutions, including non-public ones, in terms of increasing the internationalisation and quality of the educational process with a study abroad component, but also as the best tool for introducing positive changes to a steadily evolving and adapting higher education institution. It can be said that subconsciously, most of our academic community finds it expedient to support various forms of foreign cooperation at the level of students and academic and administrative staff, but their implementation very often requires an improvement in the quality standards of the service or the offer, which is usually met with a lot of resistance of an organisational and budgetary nature. We need internationalisation to provide an interesting range of courses, but also to offer the study process at a European level. More mobility in the next years of the Erasmus+ programme will depend on maintaining the standards described in the new university development strategy and in the detailed guidelines for the programme. Improving the internationalisation of the university was one of the reasons for changing the strategy and the organisation of the Erasmus+ coordinator position implementing the programme at MANS. Trips abroad should provide participants with the opportunity to improve their language skills, to have contact with foreign research centres, their teaching methods and resources, and to establish and maintain scientific contacts with a view to a further academic career and ongoing research and academic work. The Erasmus programme should form the basis for the development of international cooperation of our university, also provide a base for the development of other international projects in the future, regulate the principles and quality standards of services offered to students and promote the values of cooperation and inclusion of all students and lecturers. The need to take into account the requirements of the Erasmus+ programme has also led to the development strategy identifying areas of particular importance to the university, which is why more students and lecturers have been submitting their application forms to us in recent semesters.
