Objectives

We had two main activities in our project: a youth exchange program named "Active Youth, Healthy Future" and a conference titled "Building Relationships in the Digitalization Generation in Erasmus+" or shortly "BRIDGE+". While both activities focused on young individuals, we also aimed to work with elderly people in the BRIDGE+ conference. We believed that they could provide valuable lessons to the younger generation. We determined the names, dates, and all details of these projects in pre-visit meetings conducted with partner organizations. During these pre-visit meetings, our first priority was to review the priorities and goals of the Erasmus+ program and strive to align with our partners in the same vision. Recognizing that shared problems and needs would enhance solidarity and collaboration, we thoroughly discussed common issues of all institutions and the needs of young participants in these pre-visit meetings. Please you can check previsit film below (BRIDGE) ; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bIqUHUpHGYg In these meetings, we defined the day-to-day details of the programs and their specific objectives. Moreover, emphasizing the importance of experiential learning, we blended formal education with informal education. By incorporating museum visits, city tours, and active physical activities into the programs, we aimed to diversify the learning techniques for young participants. We also clearly communicated the profiles of participants that needed to be selected to our partners. The program participants needed to represent a diverse range of characters – those with social, economic, health limitations, and more. Ensuring inclusivity was one of our foremost goals. We aimed to include topics in our projects that would support the development of participants. We envisaged subjects that would contribute to participants' growth during the project, including: Discipline: Participating in projects could instill disciplined working habits in young individuals to achieve set goals. Teamwork: Collaborating within a team could help youngsters enhance their teamwork and communication skills. Self-Confidence: Active engagement in projects could boost participants' self-confidence and improve their ability to express their ideas comfortably. Time Management: Learning time management while fulfilling different tasks in projects could help young individuals improve this skill. Curiosity: Exploring new experiences and ideas during project activities could keep young participants' curiosity alive. In addition to these core traits, we aimed to foster values such as respect, health awareness, self-respect, empathy, and tolerance among the participants. We designed the programs with the belief that through these projects, participants would find inspiration to develop these qualities and more. The BRIDGE+ conference program has a special detail. Our organization, KS Beniaminek 03, has prior experience working with seniors. Working with the elderly not only reminds individuals of the transience of life but also underscores the importance of using time effectively. Additionally, experiencing a healthy old age is a goal many cherish. The fundamental objectives of both projects are aligned, emphasizing the importance of creating a universal human model. Furthermore, in international collaborations, creating a universal human identity holds significance. We organized our projects to encompass not only national but also universal and international perspectives for the youth. This includes understanding different cultures, getting to know their own cultures better, and fostering a desire to learn new languages.
