Objectives

The aim of our project were the goals resulting directly from the accreditation. The implemented mobilities were to be designed and implemented in spirit Counteracting gender stereotypes and the resulting discrimination in social and professional life - our previous experience of working with youth shows that stereotypes still play a large role in designing the life path of young people, taking/or not taking into account solutions and undertaking professional and social activities that stereotypically are tied/directed to one of the sexes, The need to develop practical skills, learning through experience and action, which results in the development of a sense of agency and influence - one of the main determinants of mental health. The need to create a supportive environment around young people so that changes in young people are sustainable and have the support of adults. The need to create new and develop existing strategic partnerships, because it gives the opportunity to achieve stable results, constantly exchange experiences and introduce changes on a larger scale. Our goal was also to establish international partnerships and develop the goal of building long-term strategic partnerships. We acquired three new partnerships and developed one partnership already functioning in our organization. This is especially important to us because we want to share experiences and create a space to explore new solutions. Thanks to strategic partnerships, we have experienced the benefits of long-term cooperation for both organizations and recipients. We want to develop these activities both with partners with whom we are in contact and with new ones. This approach will also allow us to become an increasingly professional organization that will be able to support young people in the local community from the expert level, but also to transfer good practices in the country and abroad. The key issue in designing the activities was the goal of strengthening the environment of young people, so that young people could mature and develop into causative, empathic adults who need support in the immediate environment created by adults. We wanted people working with young people to acquire and strengthen competences to create conditions where young people can try and make mistakes (empathy, non-violent communication, knowledge about the development challenges of young people, planning and sharing responsibility). Thanks to adults who are supportive and open to young people, the changes that will take place in individual people will have a chance to be consolidated in the future. Another key issue in the design of mobility was to support the development of agency and critical thinking skills among young people, with particular emphasis on the perspective of girls. This goal is related to the need for young people to be able to act and experience in practice. The need to learn through action and personal commitment to be able to learn how state and social organizations operate and to start influencing them or creating new qualities in public/social life. Young people need to gather personal experience, expand their knowledge of mechanisms and meet people who undertake similar activities. Without the possibility of personal involvement in actions according to their own ideas, they have no opportunity to test them in the real world, learn from failure and be motivated by success. School/academic everyday life is a situation on which young people have little or no influence. It must submit to the system in which it finds itself, which is why creating space is so important to us and an opportunity to shape a sense of agency through experiences at workshops, or supporting young people in the process of creating and implementing their own activities/projects. Thanks to this, they broaden their skills, shape their own opinions and build a sense of influence on reality. A priority goal for us was also counteracting gender stereotypes in order to create a friendly world for all people. As it results from our numerous projects and activities aimed at young people, there is a need to broaden knowledge and awareness of stereotypes. Young people aware of how this aspect affects their life attitudes and choices. Thanks to this, when taking their actions, they will find it easier to deal with adversities on the way to their goals, which are contrary to social expectations and stereotypes. They will be able to develop and strengthen the sense of agency (which significantly affects the shaping structure of a young person's personality). The mere awareness and transfer of knowledge about the mechanisms of stereotyping or discrimination causes a change in thinking and strengthens the determination to pursue personal goals against stereotypes.
