Objectives

Our project was designed to advocate for the effective promotion of tolerance and combatting discrimination among young people through intercultural dialogue. Originally, our objectives were - Knowledge During the time of the activity, 24 young people will learn from stories and insights over diversity and become competent in looking for it in news coverage - Skills By participating in the project's activities, they will learn how to practice tolerance and take initiative in their everyday life - Attitude During the 12 months of the project, they will gain awareness on the importance of discrimination and of standing up against it They were the results of studies and needs assessment survey findings that we, as a project team, managed to elaborate on during the writing phase. Based on the feedback received and the evaluation conducted, we believe we reached our objectives. During the project we shed the light on the important issues such as: - discrimination and harassment among minority groups (cultural, sexual) - religious prejudices - racism - gender stereotypes In addition to the overarching objectives of the Erasmus+ program, our project also addressed specific priorities outlined by Erasmus+: Inclusion and Diversity: Ensuring equal opportunities, access, and inclusion were crucial for our project team. As a diverse and multicultural group, we actively worked with five young individuals who faced fewer opportunities. Our aim was to provide them with comprehensive support throughout the entire process, from integration within the group to overcoming any obstacles they encountered. Our support extended before, during, and after the mobility phase, ensuring their full participation and inclusion. Furthermore, many of our planned activities focused on demonstrating and teaching how to promote social inclusion through engaging in dialogue with individuals who faced challenges in social adjustment and social marginalization. Participation in democratic life: Through the implementation of this Youth Exchange, our goal was to encourage active citizenship and foster the development of social and intercultural competences, critical thinking, and media literacy. Over the course of 12 months, project participants engaged in various actions at both the national and international levels. These experiences provided them with motivation and first-hand knowledge, enabling them to initiate initiatives that promote universal European values and encourage greater participation in democratic life. By addressing these priorities, our project aimed to contribute to the overall objectives of Erasmus+, while also making a positive impact in the areas of inclusion and diversity and participation in democratic life.
