Objectives

The Log in to life project is a response to a noticeable and global problem of addiction to technology, the Internet, Social Media and its impact on life - obesity, lack of physical activity, fear of contacts, lack of ability to build long-term relationships, depression. Our main goal was to build awareness among young people about the problem of addiction to technology and the Internet, as well as to change their life habits - e.g. increasing physical activity, increasing face-to-face communication instead of online communication and, most importantly, realizing that social media is often a fake life, transformed in Photoshop and you must not compare your life and appearance to what we see on the "boards". We wanted as many people as possible to start noticing these problems and to start talking about them, because downplaying this topic will only escalate and reach younger and younger people. Another goal of the project was to increase the ability of young people to consciously use social media to analyze and think critically about the information they receive, so that they can form their own opinion and be better, responsible and more engaged citizens of their countries. Through the implementation of the project, we wanted participants from different countries to get to know each other and integrate around a very current topic, regardless of the country we come from. We wanted to exchange information on the issues raised in our countries and in the modern world. The project gave us a chance for new friendships, getting to know other cultures and an interesting time spent in a group that rarely has the opportunity to cooperate on such a level.
