The aim of our project "Green way is my way" was to promote pro-ecological attitudes, and in particular to encourage activities for the protection of the natural environment. Ecology is currently one of the most important elements of local, national and European policy. Our project was of an integrative nature, carried out by young deaf people in cooperation with their hearing peers and representatives of Kurdish culture. Through the nature of the project we achieved the following goals: a) through the participation of young deaf people we showed that it is important to build a sense of trust and justice, and also that the Deaf are full citizens of the EU. b) we showed that the rest of society, peers of deaf people from different countries, are not indifferent to the situation of deaf people c) participation in workshop classes, in the project "Green way is my way" gave young deaf participants courage in trying to find their way in the world of the hearing, d) in turn, it sensitized and encouraged the hearing to communicate with the deaf, and also opened up the world of gesture and movement to them. When organizing our exchange, we were close to implementing the assumptions of the strategy for social inclusion and diversity within the Erasmus+ and "European Solidarity Corps" programs. The project strengthened our awareness and motivation to act for ecology and protection of the natural environment.
