Objectives

Above all, we wanted to promote pro-ecological attitudes and encourage actions to protect the natural environment. Ecology was one of the key elements of policy at local, national and European level. The project was a response to our needs and interests, giving us the opportunity to develop our passions, gain new knowledge and experience and solve problems that concerned each of us. Thanks to the project, we could learn from each other, gain practical knowledge and strengthen our awareness and motivation to act for ecology and environmental protection. When creating the project, we assumed that its content would be based on our knowledge and experience that we wanted to develop, and on those that we could gain independently or with the help of experts. We ruled out the possibility of participating in a ready-made project, instead we planned it ourselves, prepared it together and implemented it. For several months we worked on the project, discussing and arguing, until we finally reached a compromise and created a project that met our expectations and needs. The topics covered in the project concerned environmental protection, building ecological awareness, proper waste management (including recycling) and the use of modern technologies in environmental protection. We tried to make our project valuable and bring tangible benefits. The project supported the development of key competences, enabling the development of many features and skills, as well as acquiring knowledge and exchanging experiences in the international arena. It promoted multiculturalism, created an opportunity to improve knowledge of foreign languages and participate in the process of learning through experience. It is also worth noting that the project was part of the European Commission's initiative - the European Green Deal, the aim of which is to achieve climate neutrality in Europe by 2050.
